One of my New Year’s resolutions for 2011 was to start a blog. It’s going to be a year packed with activities and so seemed the perfect time to have a go!

One of the great things about being involved in the creative process is the exchanging of ideas.

I hope there will be lots of people out there who will comment or add ideas to my blog.

Unpacking after our visit to India in November/December last year, preparing for my own gallery space at the Knitting & Stitching Shows at Ally Pally in London, Dublin and Harrogate, starting the commission for St Margaret’s Church in Laceby are just a start.

The stand at Alexander Palace at the Knitting and Stitching Show was a great success and enabled me to show off some of my African collection. As I write this I am preparing to pack up to go to the show at Dublin which is at the RDS from 10 to 13th November. The show then goes to Harrogate 24 to 27 November.
